The Patton Foundation Selects The Pollack PR Marketing Group To Memorialize Veterans Through New Book, "Portraits of Service"

NEW YORK, Aug. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pollack PR Marketing Group (PPMG) announced today that it has been chosen to represent Portraits of Service, published by Patton Publishing, in association with Patton Foundation, which seeks to help veterans and their families.

Portraits of Service focuses public attention on living veterans of all wars who have made personal sacrifices and, in many cases, undergone the horrors of combat. Photographers Robert Miller and Andrew Wakeford approached this project with a desire to understand and recognize their service visually, through portrait-quality photos combined with short vignettes that memorialize their individual experiences and service to their country.  In appreciation of their service and sacrifice, a portion of the proceeds from the newly-released commemorative book will be donated to helping veterans and their families.

PPMG will embark on a campaign to honor the lives of veterans of all wars through a consumer and media outreach that focuses on the book's contents -- the experiences of over sixty veterans as portrayed in the new book.
