The Recon Group Inc. Growing Quickly with Latest Expansion to South Carolina Creating 250 New Local Jobs

BLACKSBURG, S.C., Nov. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Recon Group Inc. (TRG) is rolling out a new facility in Blacksburg South Carolina, to process consumer electronic returns, creating over 250 new local jobs.  This new strategic location will compliment TRGs existing facilities in Arkansas, Kentucky, New Jersey and Ontario Canada to further support their presence on the east coast.  Utilizing over 180,000 square feet of warehouse space, with plans for future expansion, the Blacksburg facility will specialize in the refurbishment of customer return HDTVs, with the ability to accommodate flex space for pilot programs.

TRGs investment in Blacksburg South Carolina has been welcomed by the Cherokee County Council, in recognition of the new economic stimulus that the facility will bring to the area.  In addition to the 250 local internal jobs, support services such as transportation logistics, renovation construction, security and maintenance will also be created.
