WILMINGTON, Del., June 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Over 100 Siegfried Professional Resources were joined by Siegfried's Executive Team and other members of Siegfried's Leadership for a program focused on "Compelling Connections." Professional Resources with at least thirty months of client service at the Firm were eligible to participate in this extraordinary four-day event at the beautiful Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.
The group traveled to Miami on a Thursday where they enjoyed a welcome cocktail reception at one of the resort's rooftop bars. Friday's program included a combination of leadership meetings, time to enjoy the sites of Miami and the beach, as well as the night life. The group convened on Saturday morning for a special address by Robert Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President. He kicked off the weekend by sharing his expectations, stating "The MY Journey™ program encourages you to stay on a path of life-long learning. At The Siegfried Group, we are fiercely committed to being difference makers, and this program will aid us all in that journey."
On Saturday, the Firm also held its second MY Journey™ Live Event which was broadcast from the Fontainebleau to twelve other sites throughout the United States for the entire Firm's viewing. Rob Siegfried began the day with a discussion of the Firm's higher purpose and what makes all Siegfried Professionals true difference makers. The day's main topic focused on building mastery in "Compelling Connections." Sally Hogshead, Hall of Fame Speaker, International Author and the World's Leading Expert on Fascination, was the guest speaker and presented on "How to Fascinate: From First Impressions to Lasting Value."
Firm-wide, Siegfried's employees were also given the opportunity to check progress on their Bigger Future and how to stay "Connected to the World," the latter topic led by Siegfried's Cindy Gee, CPA, Senior Vice President and CFO.
Sunday culminated the Mastery Summit with a workshop led by guest speaker Shannon Waller, Strategic Coach®, Expert on Entrepreneurial Teams with her presentation on "KOLBE Wisdom: Maximizing Your Talents For Success." Rob Siegfried wrapped up the weekend with a talk about building your personal network through compelling connections. The day ended in a champagne toast led by Greg Kurey, Senior Vice President and General Counsel.
