Johnny Holden, CPA, CA, Manager, Team Leader - NY Metro
Johnny joined Siegfried in 2015 as a Manager in the New York Metro Market. He joined the Firm after spending two years with RSM McGladrey in New York and five years for Bernard Shaw Auditors in his native country of South Africa.
He earned his Bachelors of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch and Honors in Accounting from the University of South Africa. Johnny is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds the CA designation. He also holds the Microsoft Office 2010 Excel Expert certificate.
Johnny is known to strive in effectively and efficiently solving complex problems in a forward-thinking manner. He possesses strong analytic skills and is committed to meeting client deadlines due to his superior mental agility. Mateja joined the Firm in 2015 as a Professional Resource. She comes to Siegfried from Carr Riggs & Ingram, LLC, where she gained over seven years of audit experience in the Employee Benefit Plans, Not-for-Profit, Professional Services, Retail and Manufacturing industries.
She received her BS in Accounting and Finance from Georgia State University and holds certifications that include Certified Public Accountant and Microsoft Office 2010 Excel Expert Certified.
Mateja consistently sets and exceeds high expectations. She is motivated by a competitive spirit, determined outlook and dedicated work ethic that allow her to help clients achieve their goals in the most efficient and effective manner possible.

Alex joined the Firm in 2014 as a Professional Resource. Alex began his accounting career at EY and was at a national firm Smythe LLP in Vancouver, Canada before joining Siegfried. Alex attended The University of British Columbia where he received his Bachelors in Commerce and Finance. He is also a Charted Professional Accountant.
Alex is a versatile professional who always seeks to tackle challenges and looks to add value to his clients by taking a detailed-oriented approach. He is very dedicated to his clients and works very well in cross-functional teams.
