The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals from the Central Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Renaissance Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at the Renaissance Hotel's Mt. Washington Room, and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including Azumi and Oceanaire.

In the Central Region, Siegfried is excited about Stephen Bahr, Jordan Bozarth, Javen Cam, Jennifer Rohde and Jacky Song joining the Firm.

Stephen Bahr, CPA

Stephen is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Detroit Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from General Motors, where he worked within the Global Business Services - Internal Control team and assisted with SOX testing. Prior to GM, Stephen worked at UHY, LLP as a Senior Staff Accountant. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Finance from Western Michigan University.

Stephen's willingness to succeed and passion for what he does, make him an asset to each team he works with. His personality and open mindedness adds value to his projects.  Stephen says, "The opportunity to gain exposure to various roles within the accounting and finance world is exciting. Not knowing exactly what my next move will be brings a certain level of adventure to my career, which is why I joined Siegfried."

In his free time, Stephen enjoys spending time with family and friends either while playing golf or on the water.  When he takes a break from his active life, he likes to relax with a good book.

Jordan Bozarth, CPA

Jordan is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Chicago Market as a Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Deloitte, where he gained over six years of audit experience with a primary focus in the life sciences, as well as the consumer and industrial products industries. He received his Bachelors and Masters in Accounting from the University of Illinois.

Jordan's strategic and analytical approach to solving problems, coupled with his ability to connect with people in all settings makes him a sought after professional in the marketplace. Jordan says, "The ability to work on a number of different and exciting projects next to dedicated, intelligent team members is why I joined the Siegfried team."

Jordan is an avid Illinois basketball and football fan, and enjoys following the teams around the country. Additionally, he likes travelling through Europe when time allows. He hopes to be able to continue his travel adventures through his work at Siegfried. 

Javen Cam, CPA, CA

Javen is a Chartered Professional Accountant who joins the Chicago Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from Grant Thornton, where he gained four and a half years of audit experience with a primary focus in public companies within the oilfield services industry. He received his Bachelor of Management in Accounting from the University of British Columbia.

Javen is motivated by his competitive spirit and focused outlook. He takes pride and ownership of all of his work, remaining accountable from start to finish. He expects a high level of professionalism and quality of work from both himself and his teams, and remains focused on providing effective results through better execution. Javen says, "My results-oriented accountability allows me to deliver quality work and exceed client expectations."

In his free time, Javen likes to stay active. He is an avid snowboarder and loves to travel back to the mountains in British Columbia whenever he gets the chance. He also enjoys weight lifting and scuba diving during his vacations to the Caribbean.

Jennifer Rohde

Jennifer joins the Chicago Market as a Senior Associate. She comes to Siegfried from BDO, where she gained three years of audit experience with a primary focus in the real estate and insurance industries. She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Arizona.

Jennifer brings forth her strong work ethic, collaboration and communication skills, as well as her positive outlook, in order to contribute significant value on her projects. She strives to inspire her teams to go above and beyond in order to continually exceed expectations. She states, "I am excited for the new opportunities and diverse range of projects that are available at The Siegfried Group."

Jennifer recently relocated to Chicago from Phoenix in an effort to explore new opportunities and experience a different culture. In her free time, Jennifer stays active volunteering within her community and training for fitness competitions. "I started off training for shows in an effort to stay healthy during busy season, and went on to win first place in my most recent show. It was incredible!" Jennifer also enjoys photography, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Jacky Song, CPA

Jacky is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Chicago Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from KPMG, where he gained three years of audit experience with a primary focus in the Technology, Media and Telecom industries. He received his Bachelors of Science in Economics and International Business in China and his Masters of Accounting from the University of Denver.

Jacky's innovative and tactile approach to solving problems, coupled with his desire to bring out the best in his teams, makes him a distinctive player in the workplace. His positive spirit enables him to keep his teams motivated and working diligently and efficiently towards a common goal. Jacky is passionate about his work and utilizes his strong communication skills, flexibility and ability to foster team chemistry, in order to drive success. Jacky says, "I use my intuitive energy to determine what my clients ultimately need and how I can provide the most significant value."

In his free time, Jacky is an avid skier and travels back to Colorado every winter to enjoy the powder snow in the Rocky Mountains. He also enjoys running. Whenever he gets into a new city, he puts on his favorite pair of running shoes and explores the city by foot. From the grand Great Wall in Beijing to the gorgeous Key West islands in Florida; from the long-winded Yangtze River across China to the giant Tetons in Wyoming, he continues his active lifestyle wherever life takes him.
