The Spine Africa Project And The Society For Advanced Spinal Intervention Announce The African Spine Fellowship
NEW YORK, Jan. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Spine Africa Project, a 501(c)(3) U.S. based charity, www.spineafricaproject.org, is pleased to announce that it has chosen the Society for Advanced Spinal Intervention, www.sasiglobal.com, a 501(c)(6) U.S. based charity, to collaborate in the development of the minimally invasive spine educational and training programs at the Panzi Hospital in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Spine Africa Project has been providing spine educational and healthcare services at the Panzi Hospital since 2010. Its Executive Director, Dr. Roger Luhiriri , states, "It is with great respect and optimism that the SAP commences its 2-year African Spine Fellowship with SASI which will provide the template, standards and guidelines for future Africa graduates."
