The Thurgood Marshall College Fund is proud to announce its 25th Anniversary Awards Gala at the Hilton New York, Sixth Ave on Monday, October 29, 2012. This historic black-tie gala will feature a performance by Wyclef Jean and is hosted by CeCe and Bebe Winans. The Red Carpet will commence at 6PM. The Gala is the culminating event of the 12th Annual Leadership Institute and Career Fair, October 26–30, 2012, at the Hilton New York. Over 60 Fortune 500 companies and government agencies, as well as 500 selected students are expected to be in attendance. This conference is made possible through the support of various corporate sponsors including the Presenting Sponsor, Wells Fargo.
On Oct 26, 2012 at 6PM at the Hilton New York Hotel Americas Hall 1, Wyclef Jean will open the LI with a reading of his book at 6:20PM, "Purpose: An Immigrant's Story" and book signing at 7:30PM.

Janice Bryant Howroyd, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, The ACT-1 Group presented with the CEO of the Year Award; Alex Gorsky, Chief Executive Officer, Johnson & Johnson presented with the Corporate Leadership Award; Larry Waters, Senior Director of Community Commerce and Partnerships, Miller Coors presented with the Community Leader of the Year Award; Wayne D. Watson, Ph.D., President, Chicago State University presented with the Educational Leadership Award.
