The Unstoppable Foundation Names Humanitarian Visionary David Meltzer Chairman Of The Board

AUGORA HILLS, Calif., Oct. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- David Meltzer, CEO of Sports 1 Marketing, award-winning humanitarian, and international best-selling author, was recently named the Unstoppable Foundation's new Chair of the Board. As Chair, Meltzer, along with the non-profit organization's CEO and Founder, Cynthia Kersey, will lead the Foundation to realize its mission – empowering lives through education.

Primarily focused within the Maasai Mara region of Kenya, the Unstoppable Foundation takes a holistic approach to creating sustainable education by supporting community development through Sponsor A Village (SAV), a proven 5-Pillar development model which provides access to education, clean water and sanitation, healthcare, food and nutrition, and income training.

Meltzer first became involved with the Unstoppable Foundation in 2015 through Cynthia's friend and mentor Joe Lake, Founder of Children's Miracle Network. He has served as an Unstoppable Foundation board member since January 2016 under former chair Rinaldo Brutoco, who is now Chairman Emeritus for the organization.

In June of 2016, Meltzer took his first trip, along with his family and business partner, Warren Moon, former NFL Hall-of-Famer, to visit the Unstoppable communities in Kenya. Meltzer was so inspired, that he plans to return next year to experience the progress the Foundation has made and meet with the community members who are empowered through the organization's efforts.
