WASHINGTON, July 27, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Vinyl Institute, the U.S. trade association representing the leading manufacturers of vinyl, vinyl chloride monomer, vinyl additives, and modifiers, is looking to select up to three (3) students to receive travel grants to the Society of Plastics Engineers' Vinyltec 2017. The travel grant covers the conference registration plus travel and hotel costs.
Vinyltec is the largest vinyl-focused conference in the United States. At Vinyltec, attendees learn about new developments in the vinyl industry and receive training in niche areas of the industry.
To apply for the Vinyl Institute Travel Grant for Vinyltec, a prospective grantee must:
- Be enrolled at an accredited U.S. university
- Be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in polymer science, material science, chemistry, or chemical engineering
- Be able to travel to San Antonio, Texas, and attend Vinyltec on October 11-12, 2017
