Palmer, the former CEO of RemedyTemp Inc., has 30 years of experience in the staffing industry. Malone, the former chairperson & CEO of Gentiva Health Services, has 30 years of experience in staffing and home health care. "Janet and her team have built a tremendous platform that is well-positioned to help healthcare providers meet the challenges of recruiting and retaining high-quality clinical staff in this supply-constrained environment," said Vistria's Amy Christensen, who also will join the board of Supplemental Health Care. "We are very excited about the growth opportunities ahead, particularly in providing healthcare staffing for school districts."
Founded in 1984, Supplemental Health Care has grown to a national provider of workforce solutions, with 60 local offices and four national divisions, providing industry-leading, localized customer support and seamlessly connects clients to a national pool of traveling nurses, allied healthcare staff, physicians, and advanced practitioners. Supplemental Health Care also offers Managed Service Provider (“MSP”) and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (“RPO”) programs, which provide comprehensive outsourced management of temporary and permanent clinical staff recruitment, respectively. The company is also expanding its offerings for healthcare staffing in school districts.
"We are excited to have Vistria as our new partner, and appreciate their commitment to our long-term growth," Elkin said. "In particular, Vistria's deep relationships with leading healthcare providers and school districts, which is a growth vertical for us, will help us significantly accelerate the growth of our MSP and RPO divisions."
"Supplemental Health Care's customizable workforce solutions and reputation for high-touch, dedicated customer service are highly attractive for healthcare systems and school districts," Palmer said. "As healthcare providers confront severe shortages of nurses, allied staff, and physicians, the company is well-poised to reach beyond the traditional staffing model and serve as a long-term partner with a comprehensive suite of workforce solutions."
