NEW YORK, June 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TheLadders today announced the launch of "Inside Leads," a free service built with an intuitive approach to uncovering open roles. The service is based on an algorithm the company developed to create new positions job seekers can apply to out of recruiters' online search behavior.
The launch comes as 50 percent of available jobs at the manager, vice president and C-level continue not to be posted online by companies or their recruiters. It's a reality TheLadders learned about through research into its extensive database, and it indicates that job seekers around the country don't have access to tens of thousands of relevant, open positions because they are never made public online.
"In a job market like today's, which has few perceived openings and many applicants, companies are relying on search to effectively fill positions that have been difficult to advertise for due to their extremely detailed requirements," said Alex Douzet, CEO and Co-founder of TheLadders. "The 'Inside Leads' service takes the extensive search strings out of the equation for recruiters and provides them with the qualified candidates they are looking for, while giving job seekers access to these elusive positions."
Built with an intuitive approach to uncovering open positions, "Inside Leads" use algorithms developed by TheLadders' data science team to pull together recruiter behavior, determine what position the recruiter is running searches for on TheLadders, and create job openings out of this online search behavior. Those roles are then shared with job seekers in weekly emails, which list jobs they might be interested in. This also provides recruiters with a new stream of qualified talent.
Each "Inside Lead" will be highlighted as such in the email and will offer a job seeker the opportunity to apply for a job they otherwise wouldn't have been aware of.
