THIEL Audio Taps New Head of Sales
Stuart Levine Appointed Director of Global Sales
NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- THIEL Audio Products, Inc., today announced Stuart Levine has been named Director of Global Sales, effective February 1, 2016, said J. Thomas Malatesta, THIEL CEO. "It's great to have Stuart on the THIEL/AURORA team. His history and experience with the audio dealer network allows us to expand our product offerings and strategic thinking in the space. His thought leadership is a true differentiator for the THIEL brand as we look to the future."
Levine's experience in the consumer electronics industry spans 20+ years with leading consumer brands - most recently with Harman International, where he held roles in the Sales, Marketing, and Training organizations over a period of 13 years. His experience covers a diverse mix of product categories centered around high performance audio reproduction for the home, automotive, commercial, and portable markets.
Levine is responsible for driving the THIEL Audio Sales organization and the performance of its direct dealer network to maximize consumer exposure to the brand. "There is a significant amount of energy and renewed interest building around the THIEL Audio brand. We will build upon the brand's rich history of innovation reflecting the needs of our dealers and the markets they serve," said Levine.
Founded in 1977, THIEL's customers from around the world have lauded THIEL's loudspeaker designs as some of the best ever conceived. Malatesta and his new team are scouting out current and future products in audio technology "because the next generation of speakers is already here," says Malatesta. To do that, they are tracking consumer electronics, information technology and "Internet of Things" trends and developments. Malatesta is looking to build on THIEL Audio's core strengths in high end audio and to build premium loudspeakers – speakers that reproduce sound in an emotional and sensory connection between listeners and the artists they appreciate. He and his team will build the company through partnerships, by entering niche markets and hitting new demographics.
For more than three decades, THIEL Audio has performed high-level research on every aspect of loudspeaker creation and now the company will build on Jim Thiel's legacy by constantly striving to make new discoveries that will enable THIEL to produce better speakers to connect with music lovers of this decade and beyond.
In doing so, the company recently created a new entertainment division, AURORA, an ultra HD, live streaming concert studio in downtown Nashville, slated to open in May. There are only a handful of ultra HD streaming studios in the nation and this is the only one in Nashville, specifically designed with musicians and record label executives in mind. "AURORA takes THIEL into the future as we grow our brand and connect with new audiophiles and develop next generation, high performance audio products. It also allows us to partner with record labels and share the vibrancy of Music City with a worldwide fan base," said Rebecca Abrahams, THIEL Chief Brand Officer and AURORA Executive Producer.
THIEL Audio is a loudspeaker manufacturer providing components for the highest quality music and cinema sound reproduction in the home. For years, THIEL has woven a nearly magical synergy between engineering brilliance and an unfailing passion to create the most lifelike reproduction of recorded music. www.thielaudio.com
