Thursday Night Football Gains Yardage With New Courtyard "Greatness on the Road™ Award"
BETHESDA, Md., Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As fans get Back to Football and prepare for the upcoming season, the National Football League (NFL) and its official hotel sponsor, Courtyard by Marriott, today announced an exciting new feature on NFL Media platforms, the new "Greatness on the Road™ Award." The first "Greatness on the Road™ Player of the Week" will be awarded on Tuesday, September 11 on NFL.com and then mentioned on-air on Thursday, September 13 when the Chicago Bears visit the Green Bay Packers with an announcement during the Thursday Night Football broadcast.
Each week during the season, the "Greatness on the Road™ Award" will be announced on Tuesday on NFL.com with a mention on NFL Network during Thursday Night Football.
Bringing the spirit of the new "Greatness on the Road™ Award" home, Courtyard will also be announcing every Thursday its own road warrior hero among its guests to coincide with the NFL award.
