Tiger Works With Two Manufacturers to Sell Surplus Building-Supply Inventory at Significant Discounts
Kitchen and bath products by Hansgrohe, as well as locksets by prominent manufacturer, now available for purchase at SoldTiger.com
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A host of innovative kitchen and bath products by the German manufacturer Hansgrohe, along with a wide range of residential door-handle and locksets by a prominent manufacturer are available at deep discounts online to the trade and general public as part of a surplus-inventory liquidation now being conducted by Tiger Remarketing Services (www.SoldTiger.com).
"This sale is another prime example of how healthy, growing companies in building supplies and other industries can utilize Tiger Remarketing's services to monetize unused assets while the client's management team focuses on the core business," said Andy Babcock, director-inventory strategies at Tiger Remarketing Services, which acquired the inventories being sold. "Not only do we monetize the excess inventory for the client, but our marketing and sales campaigns increase the brand's exposure to existing and new markets."
With a total retail value of $2.3 million, the surplus-inventory items from Hansgrohe—a company that has won numerous international design awards—are now available at discounts of up to 90%-off list price. They include a wide variety of kitchen and bathroom faucets, showerheads, hand showers, thermostatic and volume controls, accessories and more. The faucets, accessories and trim kits come in contemporary, traditional and transitional styles. Finishes include brushed and polished nickel, oil-rub bronze, stainless steel and chrome.
The inventory from the lock manufacturer, valued at $600,000, includes door levers with deadbolts, single-cylinder deadbolts, keyed-entry locks, lever-keyed locks, handle sets, hall and closet locks, passage and privacy knobs and more, with discounts up to 80%-off original retail prices. Finishes include aged bronze, bright brass, bright chrome, satin nickel and antique pewter.
"This latest sale represents a continuation of Tiger's efforts to assist some of the highest-quality and best-known manufacturers in the building-supply industry as they clear out excess inventory to make way for next-generation products," said Jeff Tanenbaum, president of Tiger Remarketing Services, which acquired the assets being sold. "But manufacturers aren't the only beneficiaries of these liquidation sales—after all, they represent an unprecedented value opportunity for homeowners and the trade alike."
While conducting such sales on behalf of successful manufacturers and distributors, Tiger Remarketing and affiliate company Tiger/Daley-Hodkin remain actively involved in liquidating assets from distressed or insolvent companies in the building materials and construction industries. During the past 12 months alone, the firm has auctioned assets from such companies as Burke Engineering, Coffman Stairs, FTR International, Kullman Building Corp., Liberty Appliance, Premier Electrical Products, and Standards of Excellence.
