Time to Check-In: AT&T and Foursquare Launch Football Fanatic Badge and Sweepstakes

DALLAS, Dec.­­­­­ 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- As the Bowl Championship Series games draw near, college football fans are gearing up to pack stadiums and sports bars to cheer on their favorite teams. In January, AT&T* and foursquare will provide these fans the opportunity to unlock the exclusive AT&T Football Fanatic badge, along with a chance to win a trip for two to the 2013 Discover BCS National Championship game through the AT&T Football Fanatic sweepstakes.

Between Jan. 2 and Jan. 9, foursquare users can unlock the AT&T Football Fanatic badge by "checking in" at a stadium during any of the five BCS games or at the AT&T location within the Allstate Fan Fest at the Allstate Sugar Bowl or Allstate BCS National Championship game. Foursquare users who watch the games at sports bars can also unlock the badge during the BCS games.** All users who unlock the badge will be prompted to enter the sweepstakes from a mobile landing page.
