The award is presented by the publishers and editors of leading television industry publications Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News. Melinda Witmer, the cable TV company's EVP and Chief Video and Content Officer will accept this honor on behalf of Time Warner Cable's 53,000 employees. The award will be presented to Ms. Witmer during a Luncheon Ceremony at the 11th Annual Hispanic Television Summit at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel on Wednesday October 2, 2013.
Each year, one corporation or organization is selected to receive this award in recognition of that company's outstanding contributions in service to Hispanic television audiences. Time Warner Cable operates cable TV systems within some of this country's most populous Hispanic communities and serves millions of Hispanic customers.
