Timex Group USA, Inc. Reaches Settlement with Advance Watch Company, Ltd
MIDDLEBURY, Conn., April 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Timex Group USA, Inc. today announced that an out-of-court settlement was reached in the patent infringement suit brought against Advance Watch Company, Ltd in 2008 which alleged infringement against the Timex Ironman® Sleek line of watches.
"Timex invests significantly in intellectual property and new product development," said Adam Gurian, President, Timex. "Consequently, we will aggressively enforce our intellectual property rights. We are pleased that Advance Watch Company has voluntarily agreed to cease further sales of the watches in question."
