TMC Opens Doors on Largest Exhibition Ever
ATA Council Meeting Highlighted by Must-See Industry Exposition
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, leaders of American Trucking Associations' Technology & Maintenance Council opened the exhibit hall as part of its 2015 Annual Meeting at Nashville's Music City Center.
"TMC's members pride themselves on being on the cutting edge of trucking industry technology and maintenance practices," said Carl Kirk, ATA vice president of maintenance, information technology & logistics and TMC executive director. "TMC's Transportation Technology Exhibition shows the best in industry technology and equipment. We're pleased to welcome so many of our supplier and manufacturer partners here to our annual meeting and exhibition."
This year's exhibit, consisting of nearly 400 exhibitors in 370,000 square feet of exhibit space, is the largest exhibition in the council's history. It represents the dynamic variety of commercial vehicle manufacturers and suppliers, and is once again the nation's premier truck show for equipment executives. An added feature of the exhibit is an Alternative Fuels Pavilion that provides one-stop shopping for the busy fleet executive who wants to quickly get up to speed on all segments of the alternative fuels market.
Meeting registration is available in the convention center. The exhibit continues through Wednesday.
"The work of TMC would not be possible without our supplier and allied partners," said TMC General Chairman Dan Umphress. "It's important they're here to support this council and the work it does to advance trucking industry equipment maintenance."
