Mark Ballas Stages a Day of Dancing and Music to Benefit AdMeTech Foundation’s Dance for the Cure

WHAT: Mark Ballas of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars is featured by Bill Morganti, a leader of the Boston dancing community, in a Day of Dancing and Music. Proceeds will benefit AdMeTech Foundation’s Dance for the Cure of Prostate Cancer – a public awareness campaign to end the prostate cancer crisis, which strikes as many as 1 in 6 men. Meet Mark Ballas and learn to dance from the best as he leads workshops. After the workshops, guests are invited to join Mark for an intimate reception, “meet and greet” and photo opportunities. Join Mark for this unique, once in a lifetime experience and support education and research for the development of accurate diagnostic tools for early detection and treatment of prostate cancer, the most common and the second most lethal cancer in men.

WHO: Mark Ballas is best known as a professional cast member of ABC's Dancing with the Stars and holds the distinction of having been named the show's champion twice. Mark was inspired to dance by his parents, professional dancers and world champions Corky and Shirley Ballas. Mark also partnered with fellow DWTS dancer Julianne Hough and won the Junior Latin American Dance Championship. Mark’s music career included trio with Julianne and Derek Hough and most recently, establishment of his own band.
