TopAlliance and UTHealth Sign a Patent and Technology License Agreement

SHANGHAI and HOUSTON, Oct. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- TopAlliance Biosciences Inc. (TopAlliance), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Junshi Biosciences Co., LTD. (Junshi), signed a patent and technology license agreement with The Board of Regents of the University of Texas System on behalf of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). The agreement provides for TopAlliance to use, develop, produce, sell and commercialize product and services based on the patent and technology rights developed in a collaboration between UTHealth and The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson).

The technology covered by the agreement relates to antibodies as therapeutics, which further enhances TopAlliance's technical advantages and core competitiveness in the development of a pipeline of antibody drugs.
