With more than 8,000 votes cast in 31 days, the final results showed these two families separated by less than 200 votes.

In efforts to give back to the local community, Total Home Roofing held the "We've Got You Covered" contest where deserving families were nominated to potentially win a roof - free of charge. The compelling stories of both Susan Lachance and Patricia Bell made for a tight competition. Friends and families rallied together, supporting the nominees by voting every day and spreading the word through Facebook and other social media sites.
During the last week of the contest, votes were extremely close. With more than 8,000 votes cast in 31 days, the final results showed these two families separated by less than 200 votes. Inspired by the energy and compassion that the supporters had demonstrated throughout the contest, Total Home Roofing decided that the only right thing to do was to put it back in the community's hands. Total Home Roofing reached out to supporters through Facebook and asked if Total Home Roofing should gift away two roofs, one to each family. The response was an emphatic yes.
