VANCOUVER, Wash., May 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- With the most sales of distilled spirits in Washington state, Total Wine & More Vancouver will mark the fourth Washington liquor store opened by the marketplace leader since June 2012. Known for its best-in-class service, selection and everyday low prices, Total Wine will open its first store in the southern half of the state on Thursday, May 16. Located at 4816 NE Thurston Way, across from the Westfield Vancouver shopping mall, Total Wine & More Vancouver will celebrate its grand opening with beer and wine tastings, activities, live entertainment and more from Thursday, May 16 through Sunday, May 19.
The 20,000 square foot Vancouver superstore will feature an unparalleled collection of more than 8,000 wines, 3,000 spirits and 2,500 beers, including more than 1,450 Washington wines, 55 Washington and Oregon distilled spirits and 540 Pacific Northwest beers, all at exceptionally low prices. It will also feature the Total Wine's signature "Brewery District" beer-tasting bar and growler section with 12 taps highlighting a rotating selection of Washington-brewed, special-release, draught-only and other top beers.

A spacious educational classroom, complete with desktop computers and Wi-Fi, will be used for regular tastings, consumer education courses, community meetings and special events; a climate-controlled wine cellar will accommodate rare selections and a walk-in humidor will offer an array of fine cigars. Total Wine & More Vancouver will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week, with spirits, beer and wine tastings on select days.
