ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 9, 2014 Touchrate has Partnered with the National Entrepreneur Centers, JPMorgan Chase and the University of Central Florida to provide a Touchscreen digital solution.
Founded in 2003, through the collaborative efforts of Walt Disney World, Orange County Government and The University of Central Florida, this "shared facility" and collaborative approach to small business development has attracted national attention for it's financial efficiencies and the ability to leverage assistance organization.
Additionally, the center provides easy access to these business assistance organizations for local entrepreneurs. Since inception, the resident organizations have trained and counseled Central Florida businesses in record numbers, while creating nationally recognized business development programs.
Touchrate is proud to be a part of advancing the technology with a digital assessment tool that allows potential entrepreneurs, by answering a few questions on the touchscreen, to find an ideal non-profit service provider who will potentially advise them in setting up their new business venture.
This innovative approach to economic development through small business, known as "Main Street Gardening", has been instrumental in earning Central Florida recognition from Entrepreneur Magazine and Biz Journals newspapers, as one of the best places in America to start or grow a small business.
Now "Main Street Gardening" can be leveraged even further on the touchscreens. There will be four touchscreen displays in the center where the new entrepreneurs can answer questions to better select a service provider, provide their information for better evaluation and receive a digitally printed name badge for their visit to the center.
