Toyota "Creation Station" Tour Hits the Road July 4th Weekend with Expanded Vehicle Offerings for Families
Experiential vehicle discovery program to stop at family-friendly festivals and events across the U.S through 2012
TORRANCE, Calif., June 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the success of 2011's Prius v Creation Station campaign, Toyota is launching an expanded nationwide experiential tour this summer to include a wider selection of the automaker's line-up of vehicles geared towards families. Beginning over the July 4th holiday, the Toyota Creation Station tour will arrive at destinations across the U.S. that align with the active and diverse lifestyles of current and prospective Toyota drivers.
When visiting the Creation Station, guests will have the opportunity to explore the Toyota vehicle line-up outside of showrooms and interact with the vehicles' unique features in a fun and casual atmosphere. Families on the go will be able to experience firsthand what Toyota has to offer in terms of cargo space, fuel efficiency, in-vehicle multimedia solutions and much more. From the Prius family to the Highlander to the RAV4 EV, visitors to the Toyota Creation Station will be able to easily discover which vehicle is the best fit for their lifestyle.

The nationwide Toyota Creation Station tour will begin on July 4 when it stops at Fair Saint Louis, and will continue through the end of the year with stops at Taste of Dallas, the Eat Real Festival in Oakland, Calif., the Dumbo Arts Festival in Brooklyn, NY and more. The tour will feature a rotation of Toyota vehicles, including the 2013 Avalon, the Highlander, Highlander Hybrid Limited, Landcruiser, RAV4 EV, Prius v, Prius Plug-in, Prius c, Sienna and Yaris models.
The Toyota Creation Station experience Includes the following activities:
- The Toyota Cargo Challenge showcases the expansive cargo room of the Prius v, which is 58% larger than the 3rd generation Prius. Teams of up to four people will work together to complete the challenge, in which they'll compete to pack the vehicle's expanded cargo space the quickest for a chance to win prizes.
- Arts and Crafts Stations for Kids:
Kids will have a blast coloring tote bags, creating spin art cards, and making Shrinky Dinks® at the Toyota Creation Station. - Toyota 3D Photo Booth:
As part of the overall Toyota Creation Station experience, families can snap a picture while sitting in the Toyota Photo Booth. Participants will take home a commemorative lenticular 3D photo as a souvenir. - Toyota Creation Station Giant Dice Game:
Attendees will also have the opportunity to win Toyota-branded prizes via an on-site dice game.
