WAYNE, N.J., Oct. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Toys"R"Us, Inc. today announced that international shipping is now available for online orders on Toysrus.com and Babiesrus.com to more than 60 countries across Asia, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, North America and South America. The company is providing this service to its customers in partnership with i-parcel, a leading international air express company that facilitates global shipping capabilities. With international shipping, the company is extending the presence of Toys"R"Us^® and Babies"R"Us^® and nearly doubling the number of countries that currently have access to the world's leading dedicated toy and baby products retailer.

Through this partnership, i-parcel will facilitate the international sale, transport and delivery of products for this new online shipping option to customers around the world. To ensure a seamless customer experience, i-parcel will also handle all customer service inquiries related to specific shipments and deliveries. When shopping on Toysrus.com and Babiesrus.com, customers can select international shipping for eligible items, as noted on the product detail page. Once a destination is chosen, the customer will be directed to an i-parcel page where all taxes, shipping and duty information and costs will be displayed. The customer will then complete their transaction with i-parcel through its site.

As part of the company's enhanced omnichannel capabilities, customers in the U.S. can also take advantage of this new service when shopping at their local store. With the help of a store associate, shoppers can send relatives and friends around the world gifts for special occasions year-round. When placing international orders at Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us stores nationwide a customer's billing and shipping addresses do not need to be the same.

The majority of products on Toysrus.com and Babiesrus.com are eligible for international shipping and the option is noted on the product detail page. Certain products may not be eligible for this service, including pre-sale products, lithium batteries that are not installed in items (video game players, cameras, etc.) and consumable products, such as food items and liquids. At this time, a customer's billing and shipping addresses must be identical in order to complete the online transaction.
