Tracey & Fox Seeks $1M+ in Damages for Truck Accident Victim
Tracey & Fox, a leading Texas personal injury law firm, has filed a lawsuit against Lone Star Transportation LLC and one of its drivers on behalf of a severely injured steering truck operator
HOUSTON, Feb. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Tracey & Fox is now representing a Hidalgo man who suffered serious physical injuries after being run over six times by the axles of a tractor-trailer. Named as defendants in the lawsuit are Lone Star Transportation LLC, the company that owned and operated the truck, and Jimmy Maddox, a driver from La Marque. The lawsuit alleges negligence leading to severe harm to plaintiff Robert Phillips.
On August 31, 2015, Phillips had been working as a steering truck operator assisting in the movement of an oversized truck owned and operated by Lone Star Transportation. According to the lawsuit, which was filed on December 28, Phillips had radioed Maddox that he was going to fix the trailer's taillights. Maddox responded in a negligent manner and proceeded to run over the plaintiff. Phillips has said that this accident has caused him to suffer greatly, both physically and financially, and that he will continue to suffer in the future.
Attorneys Sean P. Tracey, Shawn P. Fox, Scott C. Greenlee, and Lance N. Walters are seeking more than $1 million in compensation for past and future damages and court costs and seek pre and post-judgment and a trial by jury.
