
SPRINGFIELD, Va., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- TransForce Inc., the nation's leading provider of outsourced drivers to the trucking industry and DOT compliance solutions across the USA, has named Curtis Carr Vice President of Safety and Compliance, and Michael Taylor Regional Vice President of Business Development.
Carr comes to TransForce after 16 years with Estes Express Lines, including the last 12 as the company's Vice President of Safety. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Carr has over 25 years experience in the transportation industry, and brings extensive experience in OSHA, DOT and EPA regulatory issues to TransForce.
Taylor, who has spent close to 30 years in senior sales and operations roles with some of the nation's top trucking companies, is a former vice president of sales and operations at American Eagle Lines in Dallas, where he spent 12 years and was responsible for tremendous growth in the company's business.

Carr, who will report to Chief Operating Officer Larry Parrotte, will be responsible for all safety and compliance issues, as well as industry solutions such as the company's Carrier Profile Manager (CPM) program, and strategic initiatives associated with CSA 2010 mandates.
Taylor, who will report to Vice President of Sales Dave Scarangella, will be responsible for key account development in the West and Southwest portions of the country. He will be based in the company's regional offices in Dallas.
