Travel from Baltimore/Washington or Boston and Earn Double the Rewards with AirTran Airways' A+ Rewards Program
ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), announced today that the airline will offer A+ Rewards members double A+ Rewards credits when they purchase a round trip flight from Baltimore/Washington or Boston to any AirTran Airways nonstop destination through September 30, 2010.
AirTran Airways' frequent flier program, A+ Rewards, allows travelers to earn free* flights faster than other airlines' loyalty program – and now frequent fliers from Baltimore/Washington and Boston can reap the rewards.
"What better way to reward our most loyal customers than by helping them to earn double the credits in half the time," said Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales for AirTran Airways. "We are pleased to offer our A+ Rewards members in Baltimore/Washington and Boston the opportunity to earn free* flights faster on our airline."
When A+ Rewards members purchase travel now through September 30, 2010, they will earn four A+ Rewards credits for every nonstop round-trip originating in Baltimore/Washington or Boston and flown by October 31, 2010, instead of the standard two A+ credits. The promotion makes it possible for members to earn a free* one-way ticket when they purchase just two round-trip tickets with AirTran Airways.
Sign-up is free* to become a member of the A+ Rewards program, and travelers must be A+ Rewards members and registered for the promotion prior to the time of departure to earn double A+ Rewards credits. Sign up for A+ Rewards and registration for the promotion can be done online at www.airtran.com prior to travel.
