WESTCHESTER, Ill., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TreeHouse Foods (NYSE: THS) announced today that its E.D. Smith subsidiary has signed an agreement to directly supply the Canadian retail private label non-dairy creamer business rather than sell through Sandra, a leading supplier of coffee and tea products in Canada.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but are not expected to have a material effect on TreeHouse.

Sandra has been the leading supplier of private label non-dairy creamer in Canada for more than 30 years.  E.D. Smith is a wholly owned Canadian subsidiary of Bay Valley Foods and has been a supplier of non-dairy creamer to Sandra over this period.
