Trex Company's Ronald W. Kaplan Receives "E-3" Award From Emerald Asset Management

WINCHESTER, Va., March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ronald W. Kaplan , chairman, president and CEO of Trex Company, the world's largest manufacturer of wood-alternative decking and railing, recently received the Green Company Executive Award from Pennsylvania-based Emerald Asset Management. The honor was part of the investment management company's 13^th annual "E-3 Awards," which recognize entrepreneurship and a commitment to excellence among successful business leaders.

Emerald's team of research analysts and portfolio managers identified corporate leaders – including Kaplan – who have demonstrated the following:
