TrialPay Opens Berlin Office and Expands Management Team
TrialPay establishes new European office and welcomes former executives of Google, Gaia and zanox to management team
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TrialPay, Inc. (www.trialpay.com), the leader in transactional advertising, announced today the opening of its new office in Berlin, Germany as well as the addition of three new members of the management team. Senior Vice President of Sales and Partnerships Jim Gerber, Vice President of Brand Sales Chris Davis and Managing Director of Europe Rob Schneider will round out the management team to provide the necessary leadership and expertise as TrialPay faces an exciting year ahead and establishes a major presence in online payments and advertising.
The new European office comes on the heels of TrialPay's explosive growth in 2011 and latest round of funding and signals TrialPay's increasing leadership role in the industry as it expands its global influence. TrialPay has had a European presence for many years, but the European headquarters solidifies TrialPay's commitment to deepening its international relationships and growing its business.
Schneider will lead the European team as Managing Director of Europe, having served most recently as Head of Global Publisher Sales at zanox, the leading European performance advertiser network. At TrialPay Berlin, Schneider will lead the effort to strengthen international offer inventory and advance partner relationships across Europe. Schneider's success in managing the global sales strategy of the zanox publisher network and coordinating the work of the international publisher team makes him an invaluable addition to the team.
At TrialPay's global headquarters in the United States, Gerber's deep understanding of strategic partner relationships will enable TrialPay to expand upon its existing merchant relationships and further cement its position as an industry leader. Gerber brings to TrialPay his extensive experience working on content and strategic partnerships at Google, where he managed an AdSense business team responsible for over $200 million in revenue and worked with publishers across a variety of mediums to get more print content indexed in Google's various products.
Davis, formerly the Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Gaia Interactive, will execute TrialPay's direct brand sales efforts and will be integral in diversifying and building up brand advertising on TrialPay's platform. Davis has worked with many of the world's most successful brands across many verticals, including entertainment, gaming, retail and consumer packaged goods. His expertise coupled with his success spearheading all digital sales for Gaia will be valuable in sourcing more direct inventory onto TrialPay's platform from major brand advertisers and agencies.
"It's rare that you have the opportunity to welcome even one person who meets the leadership needs and vision of a rapidly growing company — I'm thrilled to say that we have the special privilege of adding three such individuals," said Alex Rampell, co-founder and CEO of TrialPay. "We face a big year ahead as we look towards expanding our partnerships, making a bigger impact internationally through our new office in Berlin and continuing to innovate as the leader in transactional advertising. TrialPay is growing rapidly and emerging as a major player in online payments and advertising, so we need great leadership to steer us on that path. Jim, Rob and Chris fit that description perfectly, and I'm looking forward to them making a big impact at our company."
