Trimac increases dividend by 12%

CALGARY, July 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Trimac Transportation Ltd. ("Trimac") (TSX: TMA) announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a 12% increase to its quarterly cash dividend, increasing the dividend to $0.07 per Class A Share up from $0.0625.  The increased cash dividend will be payable on October 15, 2012, to shareholders of record as at the close of business on September 28, 2012.

In commenting on the increase to the dividend, Jeffrey J. McCaig , Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Trimac stated, "The increase in the dividend supports Trimac's objective of increasing shareholder value by offering an attractive dividend yield while maintaining a healthy balance sheet that continues to improve as the Company increases investment in accretive growth opportunities."
