Trinity Health Implements White Plume's ePASS to Optimize Charge Capture

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Trinity Health, a nationally recognized leader ("Most Wired Hospital") for leveraging healthcare IT to maximize quality and safety has implemented White Plume's' ePASS product suite to optimize their complex charge capture and coding review process.

Trinity Health installed AccelaSCAN, AccelaCAPTURE, AccelaPASS charge passing, and AccelaSMART. Physicians chose the charge capture method that works best for the way they practice. Whether charges are captured directly from Cerner EHR, on an electronic superbill or a scannable superbill, all charges route through AccelaSMART.

AccelaSMART, an intelligent, customizable, denial prevention engine ensures all charges are captured and ready for "first pass pay" claims submission. Trinity Health deploys AccelaSMART to mine for revenue, address coding disparities across payors and establish a closed loop denial prevention process.
