TruBridge provides Healthcare Reform education, enrollment services and employment opportunities related to our Nation's aging population
NORTH CANTON, Ohio, March 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Greater Stark County Chamber has selected TruBridge, Inc. (TBI) for the 2013 Business Excellence Award. According to TBI President Matt Tucker, "The TruBridge is Team is proud to receive the 2013 Business Excellence Awards. We are excited about the future of using our call center model with a sophisticated platform that addresses the changing needs of an aging population and their associated health concerns."
Owner, Entrepreneur, Tucker had a choice to locate the headquarters of his promising business venture, anywhere in the United States. He chose North Canton, Ohio for several reasons. He not only recognized the value of Stark County's location and reach to over 30% of the population within a 500 mile radius, but he also knew the value of the talent pool for what was sure to be a strong business resource for our Nation's Medicare eligible population. Further, his beautiful wife Cassie grew up in Stark County and they wanted to settle into a strong community with a great educational system for their growing family. In 2008, TBI opened in the Old Hoover Office Building on Maple Street, North Canton, Ohio.
Tucker went on to emphasize the importance of his hard-working and dedicated staff. "We were blessed with insight into the complex Medicare enrollment processes back in 2008 and have become a real strong resource for individuals, companies and organizations throughout the United States." The company is positioned to add additional services that promise to add approximately 75 employees to the already 115 full-time employees.
The company has been a magnet for attracting employees into a growing field of Medicare and health related services. The health insurance industry continues to change, and TBI stands ready to provide the necessary services to assist with understanding and enrolling into plans and services. Employees are viewed as the most precious resource and recruiting, training and maintaining people for this growing career path is vital to the ongoing longevity of the TBI vision.
With the seasonal nature of Medicare enrollment, TBI has hired up to 150 employees each year for the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), adding to the skilled work force and tax base in greater Stark County. To balance this seasonality of the Medicare enrollment season, TBI is diversifying their offerings to other health related business opportunities and projects adding another 75-100 full-time professionals to their Team within the next year.
Hiring up to 150 licensed agents each annual enrollment period and providing the training and licensing required by Medicare, the organization has added a knowledge base to Greater Stark County. This service is national in scope, and TBI is poised to provide additional resources, as options unfold during healthcare reform. In addition, with a comprehensive training program in place, TBI provides an alternative career path for those who might be interested in insurance and healthcare.
