Of the more than 330 new and innovative products displayed at the show held in Atlanta this week, Truco's products were one of only three food products ranked in the Top 10 by visitors to the Preview Room.
On The Border, the fastest growing unflavored tortilla chip brand in the U.S., is outpacing the growth of the overall salty snack category. According to IRI's Total U.S. Multi Outlet data, retail sales of On The Border tortilla chips grew at a rate of 27% year-over-year during the 13-week period ending September 4, 2016, as compared to the overall salty snack category's growth of 3.7% during the same timeframe. Truco is now launching the rapidly growing On The Border brand in the convenience channel with products specifically developed to meet the needs of the convenience store consumer.
