Trump Protester Is Taken Down By Celebrity Boxing Champ Todd Poulton

NASHUA, N.H. , Dec. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrity Boxing World Heavyweight Champion, Todd "The Punisher" Poulton, notched another victory under his belt recently, while attending a rally for Republican Presidential Candidate, Donald Trump. The 2-Time Celebrity Boxing Champ stole the show at Pennichuck Middle School in Nashua, NH when he decided to play the role of hero and apprehend a male protester who was interrupting Donald Trump's speech.

Halfway through the rally, which took place inside the middle school's gymnasium, a tall longhaired man who appeared to be in his late twenties began standing and chanting the word "fascist." At that point, Donald Trump stopped his speech and the spotlight was directly on Poulton, who took matters into his own hands by approaching the protester and asking him to leave. When the man was apprehensive at first, Poulton assisted security guards by taking the man down the bleacher steps and leading him into their outstretched arms. Eventually, the security officials escorted the unruly protester out of the building. "I was just trying to make America great again", said Poulton. "It's about time that people learned some respect and manners again in this country. I don't have a problem with folks protesting before and after a speech, but you need to let the person finish their speaking engagement because that's just plain rude."

Oddly enough, Poulton and Trump share a mutual friend/acquaintance in former Baseball Superstar, Jose Canseco, who starred on Trump's hit NBC Reality TV Series, "Celebrity Apprentice." Poulton suffered the first (and only) defeat of his career to Canseco, while fighting on the Celebrity Boxing circuit. The title bout took place in 2009 at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel in Springfield, MA, and was won by Canseco via unanimous decision.

In addition to Canseco, Poulton has fought the likes of Hollywood Bad Boy Dad, Michael Lohan (the father of Actress Lindsay Lohan) and former WWE Wrestling Superstar, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. The charismatic Poulton serves as a spokesperson for the anxiety disorder, OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and spends most of him time volunteering and raising money for several charity organizations, and traveling as a motivational speaker.

The Pittsfield, MA native was attending Trump's rally in an effort to drum up support for the Presidential Candidate.
