Tulip Hires Chief Financial Officer, Saeideh Fard

TORONTO, Oct. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tulip, the mobile in-store platform provider used by the world's greatest brands including Coach, Michael Kors, and Kate Spade, is pleased to announce the addition of Saeideh Fard, Chief Financial Officer, to the company's executive leadership team. Saeideh is joining Tulip as the company accelerates its growth and global expansion with new major venture funding. She is responsible for managing Tulip's financials and employee success, including financial planning & analysis, tax management, employee hiring, staff diversity, and professional development.  

Fard joins Tulip from TravelEdge where she served as Group CFO since 2015 and led the company's global finance operations through a period of rapid organic growth, M&A, and integration.  She previously held executive leadership positions at Marketwired, a global communications and media company and Sysomos, a SaaS online analytics technology provider. Fard holds Canadian and US CPA designations and began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a speaker and volunteer for several women in leadership organizations and holds a Board of Directors seat with JobSkills, a Canadian non-for profit committed to advancing opportunities for underemployed citizens.
