Turkey, Country Of Honour 2013: Conference Programme

PARIS, March 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for the Environment and Urban Development will head up a sizeable Turkish delegation as part of the MIPIM 2013 Turkey Country of Honour programme which includes a broad spectrum of events and conferences to be held in both the Palais des Festivals and in the Turkish pavilion.

Organised by Reed MIDEM, a subsidiary of Reed Exhibitions, MIPIM will be held in Cannes from 12 to 15 March 2013. It will be officially opened on Wednesday, 13 March at 10.30am by the Deputy Prime Minister, Republic of Turkey, Ali Babacan.

Among the 13 conferences in the programme, Mr Babacan will give his views on the economic outlook and investment opportunities in a session to be held on 13 March at 2pm.

The Turkish Minister for the Environment and Urban Development Erdogan Bayraktar will also give a perspective on urban renewal in Turkey and the growth outlook for real estate in the country on 14 March at 4pm.

Hundreds of Turkish real estate professionals will be attending MIPIM this year to share their expertise and forge commercial links with other delegates.

During the three days of the event, the Turkish pavilion will attract many developers and real estate companies for a full programme of conferences featuring international experts. They will focus on different aspects of the Turkish real estate market, the country's privileged position between Asia, the Middle East and Europe, and the many property opportunities in Turkey. These industry experts come from a broad range of backgrounds – the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and Russia among others – and will further enhance the content of the conference programme on Turkey by sharing their knowledge and views on this promising market.

Turkey will be represented by the country's most active real estate companies in a special 1,000 m² pavilion as well as on several other stands in the Palais des Festivals.
