In a November article, the Wall Street Journal reported that electronic cigarette and e-liquid sales have fallen sharply in recent months. The team behind Tustin based Savage E-Liquid is the talented exception to that rule.

Owners Chris Wheeler and Matt Winters have taken Savage E-Liquid from a hobby to a business that has grossed over $2,000,000 in just 10 short months. Savage E-Liquid manufactures and distributes deliciously flavored e-liquids to over 700 vape shops in 14 countries, including Iceland, Dubai, Ireland, and the Philippines.

The idea began in the back of the vape shop, Savage Vapor, that they co-own. "We were ordering a lot of e-liquids and one day we decided to give it a shot," Wheeler explains. "We were just trying to make good products for our customers that were consistent and affordable. Things just snowballed from there." They started experimenting with flavors, getting feedback from customers, and making changes accordingly.

"Sales started out extremely slow, so in June we changed everything," says Winters. "We started including New Store Marking Kits with all first orders, ramped our Sales Department, customer service, and changed product packaging."

E-Liquid flavors include top sellers like Walter White (a simple limeade with raspberry); Marcellus (a strawberry pound cake); and Pinkman (a fruity peach and strawberry). With names like those they must be badass. All are available in 15ml, 30ml, 60ml, and 120ml bottles. Winters and Wheeler have spent countless hours perfecting the flavors to create an all day vape for everyone.
