Twicycle Launches Crowdfunding Campaign for Cyclists Wanting Full Body Workout
MIAMI, Oct. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Twicycle, a bike that allows cyclists to workout their upper body in addition to legs by utilizing arm cranks, has launched their crowdfunding campaign. The early supporters have pushed the campaign to 72% of the initial funding goal. Twicycle is offered as a pre-order on first come- first served basis in several perk levels at various price points.

Twicycle's crowdfunding video demonstrates the use of the bike, as well as its added benefits to that of a regular road bike. The crowdfunding page further explains several Twicycle benefits to cyclists, such as full "body workout, easier uphill climbs, longer rides, better traction, sprints and two machines in one."
Enthusiasm for Twicycle comes from backers from around the world, including USA, EU and Australasia. They are expected to have the new workout machines in their possessions by the end of May 2017.
The campaign, hosted on Indiegogo crowdfunding platform, will run for 30 days upon which, people will be able to pre-order the bike on Twicycle website directly.
Twicycle applies the same principle of leg cranks to that of arm cranks with a difference that the arm cranks are parallel to each other while foot pedals are at 180 degrees from each other. Chest pad allows riders to rest their upper bodies while cycling with arms, allowing for workout similar to that one will get on gym machines. Twicycle combines several workout disciplines such as rowing, cycling and pushups into a single activity.
