Company to Immediately Begin Operating Under the Name Tyco Electronics Subsea Communications

(NYSE: TEL) and an industry pioneer in undersea communications technology, announced today it is now operating under a new name: Tyco Electronics Subsea Communications (TE SubCom).  TE SubCom will continue to deliver the same reliable, high-quality, undersea communications solutions -- maintaining a leading position in the industry just as it has done for more than five decades.
