UBM Channel's CRN Named Finalist in FOLIO's 2012 Eddie and Ozzie Awards Largest awards competition in magazine publishing recognizes editorial excellence

FRAMINGHAM, Mass., Oct. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Channel today announced that CRN has been named a finalist in two categories in FOLIO's 2012 Eddie and Ozzie Awards including Best Single Article and Best Online News Coverage in the B-to-B category.  The FOLIO team, along with a prestigious panel of 300+ judges, narrowed the more than 2,000 entries received to a list of roughly 400 finalists.  Winners will be announced at the annual gala being held on October 31st at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.

The largest awards competition in magazine publishing and the only competition for all magazines and their websites, the Eddie Awards recognize editorial excellence.  Also announced this week, CRN's app for iPad, CRN Tech news, was named a finalist in the Editorial App category in the min's 2012 Editorial and Design Awards.
