NORTHBROOK, Ill., May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is notifying retailers and consumers that the 9FT extension cord, identified below, bears an unauthorized UL Mark for the United States and Canada and may pose a risk of fire and shock. This product has not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate standard for safety for the United States or Canada, and is not authorized to bear the UL Mark.
