Kickstarter campaign connects brands & consumers through social media
ATLANTA, Aug. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Looking to turn the advertising world upside down, UnaPop has launched a Kickstarter campaign to build its patent-pending technology. The social media advertising company has developed tools that will enable consumers to create relevant and non-intrusive advertising to be shared in social media's micro environment with family and friends. While at the same time, UnaPop Adselfies provide brands a native way to connect with current and potential customers.
The 33-day Kickstarter campaign (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/unapop/unapop-get-rewarded-for-your-creative-adselfies-wi?ref=nav_search) launches August 14, and seeks to raise $330,000 to build the necessary technology, which includes multiple websites for consumers and clients, as well as build apps available on iOS, Android and Windows.

The UnaPop Adselfies are simple to use:
1. Download UnaPop's mobile app or visit its website and select a brand campaign.
2. Discover rewards that you are eligible to receive from the advertiser and UnaPop.
3. Submit your selfie for legal approval; the photo will be returned with an embedded logo.
4. Post the Adselfie to all your favorite social media platforms and receive instant rewards.
The UnaPop platform will consist of two levels, one free and another Premium-based membership that will cost 99-cents a year. The free model will provide rewards directly from the advertiser such as coupons, prizes and merchandise, while Premium members can receive additional benefits from UnaPop.
While UnaPop continues to seek partnerships for incentives from large and smaller brands to provide consumers, the company has already received verbal commitments from global brands, local retailers and advertising agencies eager to use this platform.

The UnaPop AdSelfie social media platform will launch within three months of funding, with UnaPop owning all the rights to the technology.
