(NYSE: VOYA) announced today that the underwriters in ING Group's offering of ING U.S. common stock have exercised their option to purchase 4.95 million additional shares of ING U.S. from ING Group at the offering price of $29.50 per share. As a result, ING Group will sell approximately 38 million shares of ING U.S. in the offering, thereby reducing the company's stake in ING U.S. to approximately 57 percent.
ING U.S. will not receive any proceeds from the offering.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Goldman, Sachs & Co., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., and BofA Merrill Lynch acted as joint global coordinators for the offering.
