(NYSE: UAL) today announced travel options for United and Continental customers whose flight plans may be disrupted by severe winter weather expected in the New York area and New England overnight tonight and tomorrow. Weather conditions are expected to lead to the delay or cancellation of certain flights out of New York/Newark Liberty Airport and several other airports in the Northeast.
Checking Flight Status and Changing Travel Plans
Customers on flights to, from or through New York/Newark Liberty Airport and other New York area and New England airports on Feb. 10 and 11 may reschedule their itineraries with a one-time date or time change, and the airlines will waive the change fees. Customers may request refunds in the original form of payment for canceled flights. Complete details and eligible travel dates are available at united.com and continental.com.
The fastest and most convenient way to change travel plans is via united.com or continental.com. Customers should continue to manage their reservations on the respective carrier's website from which they purchased their ticket.
