Key News Facts:
- UniSat, an independent digital satellite services operator in California, is known for producing mission critical events and broadcasts for a vast range of media clients.
- This is the first ATEME customer to adopt a configuration with a built-in Intermediate Frequency (IF) modulator, allowing SNG operators to upgrade existing legacy uplink equipment while saving precious rack space in SNG vehicles.
- UniSat has deployed six high-end CM5000 encoders in its SNG fleet, providing its customers with the latest encoder technology designed to support MPEG-4 4:2:2 10-bit encoding and that also includes a built-in IF satellite modulator.
