Updated Rankings Highlight Best Marketing Automation Software
Five products identified as Leaders based on reviews from hundreds of professionals
CHICAGO, Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- G2 Crowd, the trusted source for enterprise software reviews, today announced the Winter 2013 release of the GridSM for Marketing Automation, which ranks 14 products based on more than 700 user reviews.
HubSpot, Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, Pardot (salesforce.com) and Act-On earned Leader status with the highest scores in customer satisfaction and scale. HubSpot earned the highest customer satisfaction score of 96, and Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, Pardot and Act-On all scored between 82 and 84. Overall, marketing automation users report an 85% rate of satisfaction with their software. Oracle Eloqua, HubSpot, and Marketo scored highest on scale based on having substantial market share and resources.
Today's GridSM release shows some changes from the first GridSM for Marketing Automation, released in July. Act-On, previously a High Performer, is now a Leader. LeadFormix, previously a High Performer, is now among the Niche products. In addition, Net-Results and ONTRAPORT received enough valid customer reviews to join the GridSM.

Of the 41 marketing automation products listed on G2 Crowd, the 14 ranked products each received 10 or more reviews to qualify for inclusion on the GridSM. The GridSM charts marketing automation software by scale and satisfaction to help professionals find platforms that best match the specific needs, size, and budget of their organization. Satisfaction rankings are generated from the 71-question user reviews, and scale is calculated from vendor size, market share, and social impact. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender, or Niche.
G2 Crowd users can compare products on the GridSM by both overall customer satisfaction and by vendor scale and momentum data. In marketing automation, reviewers also rated specific features such as online marketing, lead management, and social. Premium research access can be purchased on the site for $99 and offers the original data for filtering and weighting, as well as individual profiles of each software platform with the most helpful positive and negative marketing automation reviews, detailed company information, user satisfaction ratings, feature scores and customer metrics. Future refreshes of the GridSM will provide updated rankings based on the latest reviews and social data.
