Upscale Alabama Resort Announces Unprecedented No Risk Reservation Policy

ORANGE BEACH, Ala., April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Spectrum Resorts announces a No Risk Reservation Policy for their guests at Turquoise Place and Caribe Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama. Beginning May 1, 2010, reservations at these upscale, luxurious resorts will not require a prepayment or deposit in advance of arrival.

According to Voyles, the industry standard requires an initial payment equal to 30% or more of total rent at time of reservation with full payment due thirty days prior to arrival.  The cancellation of a reservation within thirty days of arrival typically requires a forfeiture of the total rental payment. Spectrum Resorts, on the other hand, will not require an advance payment for reservations at Turquoise Place and Caribe Resort.  This means if someone is forced to cancel their reservation, they can do so without being charged at all.
