US-Libya Chamber of Commerce Announces Appointment of Sara Bronfman as President of the Chamber
Board of Directors Elects Sara Bronfman as President of the US-Libya Chamber of Commerce
WASHINGTON and NEW YORK, Feb. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The US-Libya Chamber of Commerce has announced that per a unanimous board decision Sara Bronfman will assume the full responsibility of President of the US-Libya Chamber of Commerce.

The move comes as Mr. Adam Hock resigns from the board and Presidency in order to focus his time and attention on the commercial reconstruction of Libya through his private sector enterprise.
Sara Bronfman, President elect stated, "As I am able to devote my efforts to the development of the Chamber to support bilateral trade between Libya and the United States, it is a privilege to take on this significant role as the President of the US-Libya Chamber of Commerce."
The US-Libya Chamber of Commerce was formed in 2010 to support both the Libyan people post revolution. The development of American-Libyan private industry and creation of a strong civil society through enterprise are top priorities for the Chamber.
Ms. Bronfman further commented by stating that the US-Libya Chamber of Commerce will be working directly with the Independent Libya Foundation, of which she is also a board member. Together our combined goals are:

- Integrative business models
- Participation and partnerships
- Accountability and transparency
Ms. Bronfman, well known for her social and humanitarian work has been a strong and effective supporter of the Libyan people post the revolution of Feb.17th.
